Children’s Catechetics takes place:

• Sunday at 10:15 till noon on the 3rd Sunday of every month for grades Primary to 5

• Monday  Evenings 7:05pm-8:30pm for Years 6 to Years 8

• Sunday evenings for High School Youth Grades 9 – 12

(Children’s Liturgy of the Word takes place during the 9:00 am and the 11:15 am Mass.)

About the Catechetics Program:

Our new catechetics program is family-centred. Kids don’t get in without an adult! Parents and children will gather together on the third Sunday of each month. We’ll attend 9am Mass, then meet together until noon. There will be activities for the large group, as well as activities for small groups of families together. Some months there will be separate activities for the children and the adults, but in general families will be together. Although the program is aimed at kids from grade Primary to Grade 5, older and younger siblings (and other family members!) are very welcome. Since we’re meeting only once a month, the sessions will be longer than in previous years – going till noon (with a short snack break), and there will also be some at-home materials.  

Sacramental preparation (first reconciliation, first communion, confirmation) is separate from regular catechetics, and there are separate application forms. Forms are available on this website or in the church foyer.
