A GUIDE FOR CHRISTIAN LIFE |
"O Lord I believe, help my unbelief." (Mk 9:24) "And without faith it is impossible to please Him. For whoever would draw near to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him" (Heb. 11:6) |
Wednesday mornings, 9:40 –
11:30 at the Ministry Centre.
We’ll begin the Gospel of Mark on September 26.
It’s a ten-week series, and new participants are very welcome. No “previous experience” necessary! We use videos and discussion guides from the Little Rock Scripture Study Series. Planned for later in the year: The Gospel of Matthew and The Book of Job. If there is interest in bible study on a different morning, or in the evening – or if anyone is interested in leading or helping to lead a bible study:
please contact Dinah Simmons at 443-7025 or 443-7012.
Do you not know that your body is a temple
of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are
not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honour God with your body. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20):
Our new Health and Wellness Ministry is looking for team members who are interested in health promotion; could help with blood pressure clinics; have training in health sciences and/or have had personal success with healthy living.

nhowell@dal.ca. The Women of Grace Foundational Study program is a sixteen week study (8 week fall session and 8 week spring session) for women to explore the authentic gift of their femininity. This program, developed and taught by Johnnette Benkovic, encourages women to explore their unique God given call as women in the Church, in the home and in the world so they can heed the call of the Second Vatican Council call to ”aid humanity in not failing.” The study is based on Johnnette’s book, Full of Grace, and is infused with Sacred Scripture, magisterial teaching, church doctrine, and the wisdom of many women saints. Participants will grow their knowledge of their Catholic faith, deepen their prayer life and come to see the Blessed Virgin Mary as their exemplar.
To register call Lynda Roberts at 443-7011 or join us for the information session.
