Every Catholic man should ask himself “Do I love Jesus Christ and His Church? Have I seriously considered the priesthood? Have I dismissed the idea out of fear?”
Starting January 2018, men who are interested in learning more about the priesthood are invited to join a Discipleship Group, titled “The Melchizedek Project,” to discover how to discern a possible call to the seminary and priesthood. We will meet at the parish weekly during the winter and spring to share a meal, explore various aspects of the life of a priest, spend time with priests and deacons, pray, and learn about God’s plan for the Church and the Sacrament of Holy Orders. The group will utilize Fr. Brett Brannen’s To Save a Thousand Souls as a springboard into discussion. To Save a Thousand Souls will be provided free-of-charge to participants.
Those who wish to join must be confirmed, unmarried Catholic men. There is only enough space and resources available to accommodate 10 men; don’t miss out!
