Give to Saint Benedict Parish

There are a variety of ways to give to Saint Benedict Parish. We try to provide as many options as possible so we can help our members give in the way that works best for them. If you have any questions about the ways to give, please email our Manager of Finance, Chris Yetman:

Interac e-Transfer

Just like you might send money from your online banking account to a friend of a family member, you can give to the parish! Unlike typical e-Transfers, sending money to the parish doesn’t require a password; you can simply list the recipient as, and the money will automatically be deposited. If you want a tax receipt, be sure to indicate your name and address in the ‘message’ field of your e-Transfer.

PAR (Pre-Authorized Remittance)

PAR (Pre-Authorized Remittance) allows members to give by setting up an automatic withdrawal from their bank account on a regular basis. You can click here to download the form the sign up for PAR, which you can put in the collection basket the next time you’re at Mass.

When you sign up for envelopes, you’ll be sent a package with envelopes for each week of the year, as well as special envelopes with additional collections during the year. The money you give can be tracked during the year for a tax receipt as well, which is a nice bonus for supporting the mission.

You can always give with cash in person on the weekend! And if your kids have some cash, they can take it up to the Little Church at the front of the sanctuary to help support our parish’s sponsor children.

Corporate Matching

Matching gifts are when companies match donations that their employees make to charities. When an employee makes a charitable donation, they’ll request a matching gift from their employer, who then makes their own donation. Companies usually make a donation on a 1:1 ratio, but some will double, triple, or even quadruple your donation. For more information, email our finance manager:
